REGISTRATION
Registration begins immediately and runs throughout the semester. Prompt registration by on-line, mail or fax helps ensure enrollment in class. Personal checks or VISA and MasterCard numbers are welcome with mail-in registrations. VISA or MasterCard numbers are required for on-line and faxed registrations. Our fax number is (847) 932-2053.
Those wishing to register in person may come to the Community Education Office in Room 1601 at the Vernon Hills High School campus. Our office can be found off the main lobby of the Vernon Hills High School . Please use the west entrance for easy access. Office hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. We are closed on school holidays, and hours may vary over winter, spring, and summer breaks. During these breaks please call first, (847) 932-2171, to verify that the office is open before visiting the office.
Please register early ! Enrollment in many classes is limited, and some classes reach capacity quickly. Registrations will be accepted up to the first night of class as capacity permits; however, many instructors supply materials for students and need to know class numbers in advance in order to be prepared for class. Classes with insufficient registration will be canceled five working days prior to the start of class.
Registrations will be confirmed. Mark your calendar with dates and times. Unless you are notified by phone that your class has been canceled, you should assume that you are enrolled and attend your first class. Students who have questions should contact our office by calling Donna: (847) 932-2176 or Madeline: 847-932-2171.
TUITION, FEES, & REFUNDS
Tuition fees are payable in advance. Registration forms without payment will not be accepted. All classes in the Community Education Program are self-supporting and depend upon full collection of tuition, therefore....
No refunds will be made for athletic summer camps unless District 128 cancels the camp, or the camp has already reached its size limit by the time the registration is received. Please note , for summer camps and summer academic classes, there is a " no refund " policy due to timelines for hiring coaches and teachers based on student registrations.
Community Education Classes
No refunds will be made for classes unless District 128 cancels the class, or the class has already reached its size limit by the time the registration is received. If a student needs to withdraw from a class, and does so before the class begins, an electronic voucher will be issued that may be used any time during the current or following two semesters. The voucher will be for the amount of tuition of the class minus a $10.00 handling fee. Once a class has begun no refunds or vouchers will be issued. No refunds or vouchers will be given for any of the summer athletic camps.
District 128 Community Education program reserves the right to exclude from continued participation any individual whose conduct is disruptive to its program.
Residents from surrounding communities are welcome to take classes for the same tuition fees as residents.
Make checks payable to: Community High School District 128.
